HappyMother's Day...

MOTHER
A POEM BY DR. RAM SHARMA
Delicacy like flowers,
Resistance like a mountain,
Affectionate like earth,
Sacrifices like Devi Sita,
You have mother,
Coldness like moon,
Sweet voice like honey,
Politeness like a tree,
You have mother,
I salute you mother

outside our own cocoon...

 OUTSIDE OUR OWN COCOON
BY DR. RAM SHARMA
In this universe every atom lives for others whether it is sun which
provides its energy and light for all.It blazes but makes others
happy. The clouds destroys its own identity to pour the rain. The
trees provides the shadow even to the person who has come to cut the
tree.Even nature and rivers—none for self but for the welfare of the
others.
Why we are living in our own cocoon---why ?There is a famous story
related to the famous Russian author Leo Tolstoy .He was passing
through the street famous for beggers and he was famous for his
charity. He distributed all his money among the poor as he was going
ahead another beggar asked his help.He stopped searched his  both the
pockets but those have become empty at that time.Tolstoy sat down
hugged the beggar with love and said, `` Only this , I can give
you`because I have already given all my money , my hat and my pen.`.
At this the beggar said, ``The thing which you have given me is not
possible to give by so many that is love``.Hearing this the tears came
in the eyes of Tolstoy.``

hate cannot drive out hate...only love can do that..

I wanted to cry every time we lost countrymen. No, I did not celebrate, like some in the streets of New York because they lost someone or were happy he was dead. I have to believe he will be judged by God as all of us will. I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
-- Martin Luther King, Jr.

he is with them in sun and in shower...

Leave This
Leave this chanting and singing and telling of beads!
Whom dost thou worship in this lonely dark corner of a temple with doors all shut?
Open thine eyes and see thy God is not before thee!
He is there where the tiller is tilling the hard ground
and where the pathmaker is breaking stones.
He is with them in sun and in shower,
and his garment is covered with dust.
Put off thy holy mantle and even like him come down on the dusty soil!

love harmonizes.. life..

Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.
Martin Luther King Jr

prudence..

It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things:

freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practise either of them.

we are all born for love...

We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end.
