The evening descended from the sky
every corner filled with unwanted pain
the evening entered in the room
standing alone desolate
the mind became dark hole
all colours of hope disappeared
unwanted pain has entered
to grow new sun of hope

Search for 

something new
dive deep
let`s float the boat of words...
sit near any bank
throw the worldly pebbles
passed ages and ages
let`s do something in this silent sea
let`s learn to walk
on the pathways of discretion

Happy Gandhi Jayanti (birthday)...October 2, 2013...

Of course, in India,  the birthday (jayanti) of Mahatma Gandhi is celebrated as a national holiday... October 2 of every year.  This year, 2013,  it is especially important to remember the great impact Mahatma Gandhi and his brilliant example of the ancient Vedic concept of  "ahimsa" (non-violence to all sentient beings) has had and continues to have on the international level.  One example is that of Dr Martin Luther King, Jnr in the United States who visited India and adopted the principle of "ahimsa" in the American civil rights struggle of the 1960s.  Mahatma Gandhi in that sense can be considered not only the "father" of modern India,  but also of the international peace movement.

Don`t call me in the dream,
the eyes become clouds,
and these starts pouring pearls,
don`t make me remember those days,...
when heaven descends in the lap,
the moon laughed in our life,
the moonlit fragrant nights,
aches us to writhe,
a dream-call,
to move forward

Mother, you are only mother,
because of you,

I got thoughts and rituals,
because of you,

I got my face, my existence and my prestige,
mother, you are neither goddess nor god,
mother, you are not away from these,
mother, you are my soul,
you are within me,
mother, you aren`t a materialistic thing,
you are omnipresent earth,
you are a firm foundation,
mother, you are away from words,
mother, you are life

What`s this world ?

where is it progressing to ?
we read and write about simplicity
but where is it hidden
zig-zag ways are easy to adopt
simplicity is facing its identity crisis
it is on its bed for survival
zig-zag ways and means are prospering
simplicity is lost in the desert land

A new Spring.... of Humanity....

 A new Spring... of Humanity.....   we are at the Hermitage at Paramahansa Yogananda's ashrama and meditation gardens in Encinitas California.... that is the place that he wrote Autobiography of a Yogi.... it is in his honor,  our guru,  that we can say with clarity that indeed,  there is a new Spring ... of Humanity...
