Alexander the great was in his mission of conquering the world.He attacked India and oh his way he met a hermit.That hermit was enjoying his life in his cottage.Alexander reached there with his army and he found that the hermit was fearless and he did not pay any attention to him. That hermit was busy in his prayers. At this Alexander became angry and he shouted, `` Don`t you know that I am Alexander , the great  and I can do anything.`` At this the hermit answered, ``If you can do anything then make any person alive after killing him . He also forced that there should not be any pride or puff in him .``After hearing this comment Alexander  was ashamed and he got some clue about fearlessness and pride.

EVALUATION OF ABILITY

Once George Bernard Shaw was invited by a oman to the dinner. He was vey busy but he accepted the invitation. After finishing his work , he went to attend the dinner party.That lady became happy to see G.B.Shaw but at the same moment she became sad to see his clothes. Shaw was wearing very simple clothes.Shaw said that since he was busy so he got no time to change his clothes.That lady requested him to go to his house again to change his clothes.She provided her car to take him.Shaw went and he returned after wearing costly clothes.In the dinner party all persons saw that Shaw was rubbing ice-cream and other eatable things on his clothes .Shaw was saying, `` Eat , my clothes eat .This invitation for the party is for you only not for me``.When the people enquired the matter Shaw answered, `` This invitation is only for my clothes so my clothes will take this dinner.``At this the lady who invited Shaw became ashamed and she realized her mistake Now she understood that the ability of the person can`t be judged by clothes only.The evaluation of the person depends upon his ability not upon his clothes.

Once Jesus Christ was going with his followers from the village .In the way he saw 12 small dug pits .One disciple enquired about the pits .Jesus said, `` Some person has dug these pits in search of water .When he couldn`t find the water in one pit , he left that pit and started digging another pit ---- and then third pit was dug – so this process went on and on. When he couldn`t find the water even after digging so many pits.He sat down .That person had no patience and concentration .That person has labored so much to dig so many pits if he concentrated his energy only in digging one pit  then surely he will be able to get water .If men does any work, he needs patience and concentration  then surely he will succeed in his work.``

Marshall Teto  was famous throughout the world  but he admitted his son in the very simple school where boys of ordinary farmers and labourers used to study.

Once the foreign reporters asked to take the photo of his son separately but he declined clearly.When they asked the reason , he answered:  "By taking his photo separately from his other friends , he will become proud.  If he  has to become my inheritor,  he has to acquire qualities and values. Only that he is my son, is not enough . That is no quality at all."

lamp of hope..

LAMP OF HOPE

Four lamps were lighting in  a room.The atmosphere of there were so silent that their conversation can be heard easily.The first lamp said`` I am peace but no one wants to maintain me , my belief is that I should  light off soon``

It lighted off soon.

The second lamp said `` I am belief but most people can`t maintain me for long time  then what is the use of my lighting.``

That lamp also lighted off  suddenly.Now it was the turn of the third lamp , that said desperately, `` I am love , I have no strength to keep on lighting because people give me no importance and I have been sidelined by them .Even they don`t love those who are very close to them``

The third lamp also put off desperately.Suddenly a boy entered in the room and he saw that three lamps are not lighting.``You all should spread light , why you put off`` by saying so , he started weeping.Hearing his weeping the fourth lamp melted and said, `` You need not weeping till I am there , because I am hope.``The child got his hope and by hope he lighted the three lamps again.Hope can reborn peace , faith and love again.Hope is very important in the lives of human being .WE SHOULD NOT LOOSE HEART BUT MAINTAIN OUR HOPE IN ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES

James was the king of England and he had one habit to distribute the titles .He wanted to fill his treasury with money so he used to distribute the titles to the rich persons.Although he knows it very well that only by getting the titles none can become great but he used to distribute these titles to satisfy their egos and collected much money for that.Once the richest person of the city came to him .The king asked him`` Which title you want ?``The rich person answered , `` The title of gentleness``.The king at once became silent but later on he answered `` Look , I can give you such titles like LORD, DUKE , SIR inlieu of money but to make you gentle is beyond my power .To become gentle you should adopt gentleness and qualities relating to it.`` The rich person returned disappointed.GENTLENESS IS INBORN ---IT CANNOT BE IMPLANTED ON ANYONE----BE GENTLE---
